If you have exported your social media data from Minter.io to a CSV file and want to view it in Excel, direct opening by double clicking can cause Excel to improperly display emojis and special characters.

By following the steps below, Excel should correctly display emojis and other special characters in your CSV file.

1. Open Excel and create a blank spreadsheet (File -> New).
2. Navigate to the Data tab in the Excel main menu at the top and click the Get Data (Power Query) option.

3. Select “Text/CSV” in the pop-up window.

4. Browse to the CSV file you want to open and click "Get Data".

5. A preview window will appear showing the content of your CSV file. Ensure the File Origin is set correctly (e.g., 65001: Unicode (UTF-8) for proper display of special characters).

6. Click "Load" to import the data into your spreadsheet.
