Whenever you connect an Instagram account or a Facebook page to, you need to give our app some necessary permissions to work properly.

These permissions can expire for multiple reasons without even you noticing, for example, because of changing your password, enabling or disabling two-factor authentication, page admin changing your role on the page, or other unspecified security reasons.

You will also need to re-authorize our app's permissions if you have provided granular permissions when connecting your Facebook account or recently added or been granted admin access to a new page.

If you see a No required permissions error when you're trying to connect an Instagram profile or a Facebook page to, it means some necessary app permissions are missing. To ensure has all the necessary permissions:

Re-authorize permissions on Facebook

Don't worry that you'll lose your data! Everything will stay the same if you follow these steps.

  2. Go to your account and try connecting your Instagram profile or Facebook page.

  3. You'll be directed to Facebook to give our app new permissions. When you get to the step to " Choose what you allow", please ensure all the permissions are turned on.

If you don't provide all the requested permissions, cannot work properly.

If the administrator of your page requires two-factor authentication, it needs to be set up on your personal Facebook profile too. You can find out how to enable two-factor authentication here: How two-factor authentication works on Facebook.
